Archaeological exposition
The exposition shows the visitors the life of mammoth hunters who camped on the Pálava hillside in the Ice Age. Other exhibits include examples of oldest pottery and textiles, a model of a prehistoric settlement, flint tools, stylized sculptures and statues of animals and people, necklaces and decorations from shells and animal teeth. A unique exhibit is a model of the Venus of Dolní Věstonice from fired clay, the only preserved clay portrait of a woman in the world, and a mask from mammoth ivory.
