In the Wine Saloon of the Valtice chateau, you will find a collection of one hundred best Bohemian and Moravian wines, out of which you may choose your favourite.
In a unique exposition situated in the Mikulov chateau, you will get acquainted with the history of viniculture and viticulture in the region; the exposition includes one of the biggest historical wine barrels in the world, so-called Giant Barrel.
While following on one of the educative wine routes or wine cycle routes, such as the Mikulov Wine Route, you will get acquainted with the unique atmosphere of wine cellars and South-Moravian hospitality. Wine-related events, such as the Pálava Wine Festival in Mikulov, the Valtice Wine Fairs, or the favourite days of open wine cellars, offer an ideal opportunity to know and enjoy the region.
